Oh my god, David Jenkins you crazy motherfucker. He really did just look at Stede and Blackbeard and go ‘I think they were lovers’ and then made a tv show out of it
Happy anniversary, Ever Given, and congrats to Ed and Stede! I could not be happier with this combo, this has been the best early birthday gift ever lol!
This is Medusa, a bicephalic (two-headed) milksnake who was born in the early 2010s. I remember following her story closely when she was in the news. This video is completely authentic, and shows one of those rare bicephalic snakes who seemed to be able to thrive pretty dang well in captivity.
Because Medusa is a milksnake, a species of kingsnakes, her owner had to be very careful about feeding her - I remember both heads had to eat at once, and separated while eating with a piece of cardboard between them so they wouldn’t bite each other.
I’m not sure how Medusa is doing now, and wasn’t able to find any information or videos of her as an adult, but at this age she looked healthy, alert, and like a thriving young snake.
Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.
I’m not here to call anybody out, it’s been in multiple fics, I’m not vague posting. This is just a psa. 👍🏻
If you could help me spread awareness about this by reblogging, I’d really appreciate it.
I’ve had this post on insta saved for sometime ❤️
[Text Description: “Hey! Reminder: Eskimo is a slur. It means ‘snow eaters’ in Cree and is a slur against Inuit . Also don’t use ‘Eskimo kisses’. It’s called Kunik. It is a greeting mostly used for family… Kunik was how I’d greet my mom and grandmother as a small child.” /TD]
Rebloging for the awareness and especially for the alternative words
autism culture is seeing a post about ADHD culture that has a Very Relatable Feel but being unsure if you can reblog it because you don’t have ADHD
we are all neurodivergent in this chilis tonight
Cousins! :D
Woo! Cousin high five! :D
There’s also the third participant in the handshake:
If you Relate, or know someone that might Relate, reblog it. I don’t think it really matters if you have ADHD or are Autistic, chances are there’s a follower that is and might not have seen that post otherwise, and it might not make them feel so alone.
Honestly, i think if you see a post and it stops you in your tracks because it makes you feel some sort of like, relief or comfort that you’re not alone, then you should be allowed to reblog
Also like… the venn diagram of shit both ADHD and autistic ppl experience has a VERY large overlap. They’re often either misdiagnosed as each other or comorbid.
Regardless of what you’ve got, if that post hits you in your gut, go reblog it, imo.
I’ve been struggling for most of my life with ‘treatment resistant atypical depression.’ I wonder now if it’s actually ADHD or Autism. Is 50 too late to question my diagnosis? Is there any point anymore?
